AWARDS

WCN believes that small tokens of appreciations to people who are committed to conservation usher positive changes in nature conservation. Thus to promote and encourage such individuals WCN has initiated two awards. The awardees are evaluated by WCN based on their performances in their line of work.

CONSERVATION AWARDS

"CONSERVATION AWARD" was presented to six individuals on February, 2007 for their outstanding performance in fighting illegal wildlife trade in the front line and help line agencies to bring down rhino poaching. The award ceremony was organized amidst distinguished enforcement officers and conservationists. The Award included Commendation Certificates and Cash Prize. This award was supported by "Care for the Wild International" (CWI).
